VOTE IN PB49 THROUGH FEBRUARY 19

It's that time of year again! 49th Ward residents aged 14 and older (regardless of citizenship status) can register to vote in the 13th cycle of PB49.

For those wishing to vote online, simply fill out an online registration form at bit.ly/PB49Register or by clicking the button below, and a staff member will respond with the voting site link and a special access code that will allow you to vote. Those wishing to vote in person can do so at the 49th Ward office during office hours.

Please do not share your code with anyone else, your code is unique and may be used only once. Please note that this is not an automated system; rather, office employees will be verifying information. This may result in a delay from the time you submit the registration form to when you receive the one-time code.

View the project proposals in the gallery below to learn more about the different projects on this year's participatory budgeting ballot. You can also view the Project Expo presentation by clicking here (en español aquí).

Voting for cycle 13 of Participatory Budgeting in the 49th Ward will take place from January 30, 2023, through February 19, 2023.

Please join us as we launch the next Participatory Budgeting Cycle in the 49th Ward! This will be the 13th PB49 Cycle and the first step to get involved is to attend the virtual Community Assemblies. There you’ll have the opportunity to learn about what PB is, what it has funded in the past, how you can propose a project, and you’ll get a chance to meet some of our previous PB volunteers known as Community Representatives. Everyone is welcome to join the meetings!

Spanish translation services will be provided for both meetings.

You may register for both PB Community Assemblies here: bit.ly/PB49CommunityAssemblies.

Can't make an assembly? We'll be at the Glenwood Sunday Market on July 10, 17, and 24 (between 10 and 2 pm) ready to collect ideas. Swing by and share what you think should be included on this cycle's ballot.

Visit our PB49 homepage to learn more about the process!
