February 27, 2025 - On February 4th, the 49th Ward Office hosted a community meeting via Zoom regarding a zoning change request for the property located at 7234 N. Hamilton Ave.


The applicant is seeking a zoning change from RS-3 to RT-4 to bring the property into zoning compliance. There are three existing units on site. There will be no construction or physical additions to the property. This zoning change is merely to allow the property to be zoning compliant. 

 

Community feedback was receptive to this zoning change so Alderwoman Hadden WILL SUPPORT the zoning change request for 7234 N. Hamilton Ave.

The applicant is seeking a zoning change from RS-3 to RT-4 to bring the property into zoning compliance. There are three existing units on site. There will be no construction or physical additions to the property. This zoning change request is merely to allow the property to be zoning compliant.

Since there will be no physical alterations to the property, the unit already exists, and no direct questions or concerns were brought up during the community meeting, Alderwoman Hadden decided to forgo a community feedback survey for this zoning change request.
