This ELC subcommittee, led by Co-Chair Karen Schauwecker, is working to update environmental assessment tools for new building developments in the 49th Ward. Though our ward currently refers to the Community Development Guidelines and Checklist, this subcommittee is working on creating a new scorecard that draws from Chicago's current sustainable policy, scorecards from other cities across the country, and priorities from EJ organizations in our community.
