Vote in PB49 thru November 16th
49th Ward residents aged 14 and older (regardless of citizenship status) once again have the opportunity to vote in the 49th Ward's participatory budgeting process. Participatory Budgeting is a democratic system that empowers people in determining how their tax dollars are spent.
For those wishing to vote online, simply fill out an online registration form at bit.ly/PB49Cycle15 or by clicking the button below, and a staff member will respond with the voting site link. Those wishing to vote in person can do so at the 49th Ward office during office hours. Please note that the online voting system is not automated; rather, office employees will be verifying the information. This may result in a delay from the time you submit the registration form to when you receive the link.

Idea Collection Now Open
If you could spend one million dollars in the 49th Ward, what would you do? Our office is launching our 15th Participatory Budgeting Cycle and we need your input on how the 49th ward invests one million dollars! Our office will be hosting two Idea Collection Assemblies where you can learn about the PB process and also submit your idea.
The-in person assembly will be held at Willye B. White Park (1610 W. Howard St.) on Saturday June 26th at 10:30 AM and the virtual assembly will be held on Tuesday July 15th at 6pm. You can register for the virtual assembly here: bit.ly/447vIS9. Idea collection will be open until August 3rd.
