Final Decision - 7/13/24:
On Tuesday, June 4th, Alderwoman Hadden and the owner of the property located at 6453 N. Bosworth hosted a community meeting to discuss a proposed zoning change for the property located at 6453 N. Bosworth. A recording of the meeting can be viewed here.
The property owner, Erik Myrold, is requesting a zoning change from RS-3 to RM-4.5 to add one additional 3bd dwelling unit to a 3-unit existing building. There will be no changes to the exterior of the building.
A community survey regarding this zoning request received 26 responses. Of those responses, 88.5% of respondents were in favor of supporting this zoning change request. Our survey received 23 responses in favor and 3 responses were against the zoning change. With no major concerns, Alderwoman Hadden WILL SUPPORT the zoning change request for 6453 N. Bosworth Ave. We look forward to continuing working with the property owner to bring new housing opportunities to the 49th Ward!
