Anti-Littering and
Clean Up Efforts

This ELC subcommittee, led by Co-Chair Viral Mistry, believes that we all deserve a community that looks and is clean. Their purpose and mission as a group is to reduce littering in our neighborhood by coordinating with residents, community organizations, and the city's agencies to help keep our public ways clean. To that end, they are working on various efforts to promote cleaner streets and reduce littering through clean up efforts, new signage, and new waste infrastructure on our streets to reduce both human and pet waste.

Updates

The subcommittee partnered with the Loyola Park Advisory Council during Artists of the Wall Festival. Volunteers were out and about and checked in with folks who were having cookouts and made sure everyone had trash bags and knew where to properly dispose of coals and trash to help keep our park clean and enjoyable.

More updates are coming soon!
